QEEG Brain Mapping
Restoring Healthy Brain Function
How Do We Know What Part Of The Brain Needs Our Help?
We do this through a Quantitative Electroencephalography (QEEG) scan, also known as a brain map. A QEEG brain mapping is a non-invasive test we use to pinpoint the dysregulated areas of the brain. This neurofeedback tool evaluates a person's brainwave patterns and takes the assumption out of determining a person's needs for their condition.
We place what looks like a swimmers cap with numerous sensors on your head to measure the brain wave activity. This process can take up to 30 minutes to complete and is non-invasive. The QEEG system then compares your brainwave to a database of established standards of normal brain function to determine if a problem is present.
The comparison that is made is relevant to both age and gender, meaning we are comparing apples to apples. It does not identify specific conditions, however, it does show a map of problem areas in the brain that we can use to determine likely neurological conditions.
What Is Neurofeedback And How Does It Relate To QEEG
A neurofeedback test is how we train the brain to self-correct brain imbalances, a QEEG is the tool that is used to determine where the problem resides within the brain. The custom report creates an accurate snapshot of your brain activity.
The QEEG will generate a list of training protocols to target the areas of the brain most in need for help. Over time, along with multiple sessions, the brain will correct itself and learn to regulate on its own. The results gained from neurofeedback are usually permanent and no further training is needed.
QEEG Brain Mapping Report
The QEEG mapping report is a comprehensive analysis of your brainwave activity. It displays the data for each brainwave type, as well as the emotional and cognitive results. Unlock your brain's potential with QEEG mapping and experience the power of neurofeedback, as real-time data guides you towards optimized cognitive function and mental well-being.
